Boy, are we ever learning about God’s provision! Every time we turn around we are being attacked and seemingly beaten down. We are trying so hard to get on top of our finances and trying to follow Dave Ramsey’s Babysteps to Financial Peace and we are buffeted at every turn. And we aren’t the only ones. Tammy-Lee and her dh are experiencing similar frustration. But at the same time, J and I and our little ones have been able to eat, stick to a budget, find some fun things to do, be with friends, talk to family (long distance). We really have more than just our needs met; we’ve got some wants / desires met too. Thanks to God’s provision through His people, both locally and from far away.
We’ve been in this place before and not all that long ago. God always pulls us through but the getting thereis not easy.
It’s hard to see the provision sometimes when we are in the midst of this trial, this struggle. We fight and argue and are stressed. But, in the end, we come out on top, with better communication and a stronger relationship. God’s provision of wisdom. Ask and you shall receive.
I think we’re on the right track. (Thanks for that reminder, Mom.)

P. S. In the spirit of being real, life is really hard; I hate it. I’m so sick of this stage or time in our life. I want a time of rest; of peace and quiet; of smooth sailing. We don’t always see these things – this provision – until we sit down and think about it, or until some loving friend or family member gently (or not so gently) reminds us.
Am I happy? For the most part, I guess. I’m just tired.
At the same time, this unrest spurs us on to be better people. Real. No masks. Healthier. More disiplined. More on this soon, maybe. lol.

Saying a prayer for you dear.
i’m sure you’ll get your breakthrough soon. God knows your pain and frustrations. And He’s a good God. our circumstance right now looks so great but our God is greater. He can turn things around for us suddenly. hang in there. blessings…
Remember the quiet after the storm. You are putting your hard work in now and soon you will have the pay off. I will include you in my prayers. It’s hard to trust in the Lord when we go through trials.
Praying for you right now. To paraphrase something that our pastor says, “Don’t tell God how big your problems are. Tell your problems how big your God is!”
I felt what you feel…like one day is aid to myseld..I’m sick and tired of all these needs and I can’t do a thing..God rebuked me and opened my eyes to see His plan..
I’m blessed with your post
Wow. thank you for such a powerful post straight from your heart! Dave Ramsey has a great financial program – we did it several years ago and worked ourselves out of debt. It takes hard work, dedication and perseverance, but well worth it in the end. Times such as this is the time we really must place our trust in God! Keep up the good work my friend. HAPPY TT! -Laurie
Praying for you. Have a good week!
” May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.”
Psalm 20:4 (nkjv)
If riches increase do not set your heart on them.
Psalm 62:10 (NKJV)
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty surely to poverty.”
Proverbs 21:5 (NKJV)
We love you and know that you are being diligent. Keep it up, He will provide for you needs.
Matthew 6:24-26 (New International Version)
“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Hang in there, be diligent in prayer, tell Satan to back off, Work together even when it is tough and most of all, Let GOD do His work in you.
Thanks for being so honest. Yes, we can see God’s provisions and recognize all He has given to us. But, sometimes, that doesn’t mean that life is any easier.
Praying God gives you a time for rest and the time will be here soon when things are a bit easier.
Happy Thankful Thursday!
