Works for Me Wednesday – Double Sheets on a Crib Matress

I haven’t done a Works for Me Wednesday post in a LONG time, but I just had to write about this!

All of my crib sheets came apart at the seams, and they were therefore useless as sheets! I know I could very well sew them back up, but I discovered that double-sized fitted sheets folded in half the long way work very nicely. All four fitted corners are on one side of the bed (I put them on the back, against the wall, as we are using the crib as a toddler bed) and then just tuck in the other side. My son slept very well last night, without fighting with his sheets and blankets. I will be doing this from now on. I have a bunch of double sets and no double bed! We sleep on a queen and the spare is a queen. I was going to get rid of these sheet sets – nice flannel – but now I won’t!

I hope that helps someone else in a similar predicament.
